The Smart Farm is proud to announce our new partnership with Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital and our Generous Grant from the Barrington Area Community Foundation!

Come check out our new gardens behind the barn at our Advocate Good Shepherd(AGS) campus.

We still have some Organic Veggie Plants available...Take a look at Seed list for June 1 availability. Piant Pick-up between 10am-1pm at our Hoop House at Advocate Good Shepherd.

  LEARN  
  The Smart Farm is an educational garden for the Barrington area and nearby communities. Adults, children, and students learn about their agricultural heritage, organic gardening, the slow food movement, and best practices for living "green," sustainable lives.  
     
     
  GROW  
  Volunteer to help us grow our vegetables, using the latest techniques in integrated pest management, water and soil conservation, and composting. Field trips are available for school groups and other organizations.  
     
     
  SHARE  
  All of our produce is shared with local food pantries.
